6月に入り梅雨入りも間近。
そんな夏をチラホラ感じられる季節になり、
爆発的に人気が上昇しているのがあのプロダクト。
今回のブログは、僕がそれを履き始めて1年が経過した事に伴い、
その経年変化と愛の大きさを知ってもらえればと思いブログを書こうと思い立ちました。

皆さまはサンダルというとどう言った印象をお持ちでしょうか？
ビーチサンダルのような薄くて低価格の使い捨てタイプや、その形にレザーを落とし込んだアイランドスリッパのようなものが世間的には多い気がします。
特にメンズに限っては。
僕は昔からある言葉をとても大切にしてファッションと向き合っているつもりです。
オシャレは足もとから。
誰もが聞いたことのある言葉だと思いますが、実によく考えられた言葉だなと。
そして、そんな考えに共感する僕が自信を持って進める、夏にも品を損なわないエレガントな足もとを演出出来るプロダクトとして去年発売したのが、
画像でもお分かり頂けるとは思いますが、
非常に質の高い皮革VINCENTを贅沢に使用したこのサンダルは、
甲のデザインに特徴があり、親指と人差し指で挟み込んで歩行できるデザインの為、踏ん張りが効き走ることも容易ですし、
甲全体を包むホールド力のおかげで歩行の際にソールがしっかりとカカトに着いてくるので歩き易さも抜群なのです。
実際に履いてくれてる人からは、かなりの高評価とお褒めの言葉を頂きますし、色違いで揃える方も大勢いらっしゃいます。
そして何と言ってもエイジングの楽しみ。
これが革好きには1番響く事なのではないのでしょうか？
新品と同様の角度から撮ってみましたが、なんともワイルドな皺と、それに相反したデザインのコントラストが美しくありませんか？
これが実際に履いてみると履き心地は先にお伝えした通りなのですが、指の並びと共にカーヴィンされたデザインが男らしさとセクシーさを良い塩梅で融合させています。
光沢も出ているので、まるで別のアイテムかと見間違えてしまいそうです。
そして、このDIPの素晴らしいところはサンダルなのにソールの張り替えができる点です。
せっかくカッコよくエイジングしてきたのにソールが擦り減って履けなくなってしまっては言語道断、支離滅裂。
もちろん一生モノとは謳いませんが、大切に育めば数年は良き相棒として足もとを飾ってくれると確信しております。
ウレタンを忍ばせたフットベッドは足裏の疲労を分散し、土踏まずに盛り上がりをつける事で長時間の使用も苦にならず、むしろ玄関出る時に知らぬ間にこのサンダルを選んでいる事間違いなしです。
夏の装いは軽めになるので、足もとはシッカリと輝かせたいものですね。
お値段も3万円に消費税と良心的です。
そしてもちろん安心のMADE IN JAPAN。
生釘が錆びていくのも堪らない経年の醍醐味。
